I haven't managed to pinpoint the cause of the crash to a single line, but there are a few things that might contribute to it:
There are many of those lines, so it's possible that one of them triggers the crash, while the others are unrelated.
There's a lot of code in the game and (as it's rather complex), it's likely that some of it triggers the crash.
It's possible that the crash is caused by the game's inability to find the save, so the player has no save to restore.
If the player enters a cockpit with a body and then tries to save the game, it's likely that the save doesn't work.
There are many things that can be done to make the save work, so it's likely that the player is triggering a crash when it tries to restore it.
It's likely that the game crashes earlier than the game engine does, so the player can't even see the result of the crash.
It's also possible that the KSP game engine doesn't need the save file to work and that it will somehow work with the save files even if they are at the wrong place (e.g. in your root, not in the KSP directory).
It's likely that there are other problems with the saved files.
It's possible that the game doesn't save the player's position or the position of the vessel when the player is in a cockpit.
If the file is moved outside of the KSP directory, the save system still doesn't work, but it's possible to restore an old save using a manual method with the game files. That means the player can copy and paste a save file anywhere.
The introduction doesn't explain that and it's almost not possible to understand, so consider this a small overview of the narrative of the game and how it affects the file system and the save system.
It's the same for CRAFT files. As it's the narrative of the game that determines what needs to be saved, their files can be edited or not, so most of the CRAFT files are stored in the persistent file.
This is the first version of the mod. I would like to say that I will work on additional features and get a KSP version 0.9.0 out within a few months. Some features may be more complex than I initially thought. Cleanup, debug and testing of the editor is the first priority. KSP should have a working savegame editor by the end of the year.
If another hacker does this, then they will be able to put any game on the ps3 in a matter of minutes! and that means that Sony will be out of the console market for good. We have seen what happens when sony doesn't support games anymore. Nintendo is turning a profit, now it is time for Sony to do the same, or else they are dead.
I don't see the appeal of owning a Sony PS3, and I don't see the value of the PS3 as an entertainment device. Sony has become one of the most untrustworthy companies in the gaming industry in my eyes. 827ec27edc
